Overview
Yongjian was entrusted with the full-cycle design and manufacturing of a centralized hydraulic system for a newly constructed 138,000 ft² industrial testing facility. The customer required a high-performance system capable of precise flow and pressure control to support advanced structural life-cycle testing.
Project Challenges
The client’s existing system dated back over 35 years, featuring outdated fixed-displacement gear pumps that caused constant heat loss and fluid contamination—leading to frequent servo valve failures. For the new facility, a modern system was needed with:
Fast flow variation up to 250 GPM in 200ms
Precise pressure stability (3000 psi ±100 psi)
ISO 12/10/7 cleanliness level
24/7 operation for 30+ years


Our Solution
Yongjian delivered a complete turnkey solution including:
Central reservoir: 11,000-gallon stainless steel tank with internal diffusers and baffles to stabilize return flow
16 pump/motor units: Each powered by a 300 HP motor with pressure-compensated piston pumps and duplex filtration
Filtration & cooling system: Kidney loop filtration, rooftop 6M BTU heat exchanger, and vacuum dehydrator
Advanced controls: PLC-based monitoring and remote diagnostics with full redundancy and 24/7 uptime support
Engineered piping: Nearly 10,000 ft of high-precision, non-welded piping, reducing leak points and heat loss
Accumulators: 20 strategically located accumulator banks to manage surge loads during dynamic testing
