HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS
Custom hydraulic cylinders for continuous casting segment actuation, reviewed for compact interfaces, heat, scale, water and maintenance access.

Continuous casting segment actuators may operate close to heat, cooling water and scale while fitting inside a crowded roller assembly. Yongjian can review replacement or new-equipment drawings for a cylinder matched to the segment’s movement and interface. The final dimensions and duty are established by the machine builder’s approved specification.
AI-assisted illustrative image based on hydraulic component references. It is not a photograph of a delivered product. Final appearance, dimensions and performance depend on the approved project drawing.
Document the actuator position, force in both directions, stroke, available envelope, cycle rate and working pressure. Show neighboring rollers, guards, hoses and service clearances. Check pin and bearing loads, rod alignment and whether the segment guides lateral forces independently. Include any requirement for controlled gap adjustment or position indication in the system description.
Mounting arrangement, port location, bore, rod, seals and wipers should fit the actual segment. Heat, water, scale and hydraulic fluid determine protection and material choices; a nearby hot surface should be documented rather than estimated. If feedback is needed, define sensor range, connector protection and control interface. Design for accessible seal replacement where practical.
Agree on critical fit dimensions, pressure and leakage testing, stroke and sensor checks where applicable, marking, surface protection and shipping preservation. Review replacement interchangeability against the specific segment revision and serial range.
Send casting machine and segment drawings, actuator function, forces, stroke, pressure, fluid, heat and water exposure, sensor needs, quantity and acceptance documents. Include the existing part number and segment revision if interchangeability is essential. Send drawings and project details to Yongjian for an engineering review and quotation.
A casting segment may combine radiant heat, cooling water, scale, and repeated positioning cycles. Actual conditions vary by location, so replacement cylinders should be matched to the specific segment station.
Identify operating pressure peaks, rod travel, exposed surfaces, adjacent heat sources, cooling spray, and removal clearance. Review seal and wiper materials against the measured temperature and water exposure; check how segment alignment is controlled mechanically.
Provide the OEM drawing or measured interfaces, duty cycle, fluid specification, temperature observations, and failure history. Agree on leakage testing, dimensional checks, coating, and spares before manufacture.
Product configuration and performance are confirmed from approved project drawings; this section is application guidance.
Final technical parameters are confirmed after drawing review and operating-condition evaluation.
