HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS
Project-specific hydraulic cylinders for radial floodgate operation, with mounting, travel, water exposure and inspection defined by gate drawings.
For drawings or project requirements: wenyanchen778@gmail.com
Radial floodgates place their operating cylinders within a structural system of trunnions, arms, seals and civil works. Yongjian can review the gate layout for a custom actuator or replacement, with dimensions and performance established from the approved project documents. A gate’s required force changes with water level, seal friction and operating position.
AI-assisted illustrative image based on hydraulic component references. It is not a photograph of a delivered product. Final appearance, dimensions and performance depend on the approved project drawing.
Provide the gate radius, arm and trunnion geometry, cylinder attachment points, gate travel, water levels, opening and closing forces, and emergency conditions. Check pin reactions and cylinder alignment across the full path. Where paired cylinders are used, specify the synchronization approach and allowable skew at system level. The designer should define safe holding and movement during power or control loss.
The cylinder specification should settle stroke, closed length, rod and bore, mount pins, port arrangement, position indication and end-of-travel approach. Discuss moisture, ultraviolet exposure, flooding, debris and water-compatible maintenance practices when selecting seals, rod treatment and paint. Access for pin withdrawal, gland service and hose replacement should be shown in the installation drawing.
Identify critical dimensions, pressure and leakage tests, stroke verification, surface protection, identification and preservation before manufacture. Functional gate commissioning, synchronization and safety interlocks must be checked in the installed hydraulic system.
Send gate general arrangement, water load cases, movement time, stroke and mount drawings, pressure, fluid, environmental conditions, sensor interfaces, quantity and test documentation needs. Send drawings and project details to Yongjian for an engineering review and quotation.
A radial gate rotates around trunnions, causing the actuator lever arm to change through travel. Force calculations should include water level, seal friction, sediment, and both opening and closing directions.
Check mounting-pin articulation at end positions, clearance to the civil structure, rod exposure, mechanical stops, and the effect of asymmetry if two cylinders are used. Define controlled lowering and the gate’s safe state after loss of power.
Provide gate general arrangement, trunnion and actuator coordinates, operating sequence, water-level cases, stroke and pressure limits, and local corrosion conditions. Ask for approved installation drawings and functional acceptance criteria.
Product configuration and performance are confirmed from approved project drawings; this section is application guidance.
Final technical parameters are confirmed after drawing review and operating-condition evaluation.
